I got started on Christmas shopping today. Have not clicked submit on my Amazon order yet, but I do have the kids movies and books in my cart. They will be getting Shrek Forever After (comes with a bonus Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular movie) and Toy Story 3. I think I'm also going to get Avatar for Jason.
It has already been determined that EllaBear will be getting a bicycle from Santa. I think Evan will probably get a DSi. Other than that and the standard stuff I always get them (movie, book, pajamas, tooth brush, game...) I'm kind of at a loss as to what to get them. I did come across a bounce ball that I might get Ella. I've already got Evan a bunch of Bakugans. If Evan gets the DSi (which is $180...) that might be about it for him. Add in a couple games and that's about all I can afford to get him. I'll have $300 in him alone easy. It could prove to be an expensive christmas...
OH!!! I've also already decided on the kids christmas PJs!! Ella's wont be a problem. But I seem to find myself in a bidding war for Evan's version. I can only find ONE pair in his size and wouldn't you know it would be in an eBay auction. I've got to make sure I can get his before I buy Ella's.

Ugh! Already?!
It's time to start thinking about Christmas again. I hate all the planning that goes into Christmas. While I love it all in theory, it's the logistics of it all that simply drives me mad. I like playing Santa. Love it actually! But finding time to find the right gift at the best price... ugh! I'm feeling anxious just thinking about it.
Both Jason and my mom would say I put too much pressure on myself and over do everything. I don't think I do. But of course I would say that. Hahaha! I just have this vision in my head of how I want Christmas to be for my kids. I've got these memories that I want to have with them. And yes, I am willing to make a great big hassle for myself in order to make that happen.
Right now I'm on the hunt for pajamas for the kids. They both get new christmas pajamas on christmas eve and then spend the entire next day in them. I will take their picture in front of the tree before bed on the 24th and then after the holidays, I will have it made into an ornament. Speaking of which, I've got to get last year's made as well. My goal is to have an ornament from every year so that when they are grown and gone, I will still have a tree full of memories.

Driftwood Beach, Jekyl Island, GA
The Prince family got together down on Saint Simons Island on October 2nd. Aaron and Lauren grilled burgers and hot dogs for us and then we all went over to Jekyl to Driftwood Beach to take some family pictures. It was kind of overcast and windy, but I was happy with the way the pictures turned out. One of these days I'm going to get around to editing them... right after I find the time to figure out some basic Photoshop techniques. Here are a few of the best pictures I took that day. These are all straight out of the camera.
Blogging... Take 4
Alright. Time to try this again. I've got so much to talk about. I hope I don't let this go after a week or two like I normally do.
Goal: Post SOMETHING daily. Even if it is just one little sentence. One post. Every. Single. Day.
Ready? Set... GO!!!
